David Meece
Co-Founder & Chairman
David Meece is a founding member of Pearl Street and serves as its Chairman. While practicing law in the late 1990s, David foresaw a future shift in the dental/medical industry and formed a dental group to be a frontrunner in that evolution.
He was born and raised in Dallas and graduated from Baylor University before obtaining his law degree. For 25+ years, David has presided over the growth and evolution of the Pearl Street family of practices, and he considers it a great honor to work alongside people he considers the very best in the industry. While he brings a unique approach to the business side of dentistry, David prides himself most on developing the relationships and creating the overall culture that have been key to Pearl Street’s success.
David is a devoted husband to his wife, Ashley, and a proud father to three daughters, Lauren, Audrey, and Hailey. He spends his free time at the family farm near Fairfield, TX and is an avid outdoorsman, piano player, and sports enthusiast. David is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Baylor Bear Foundation, and American Mensa.
Dr. Robby Jennings
Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. William R (Robby) Jennings joined Pearl Street in its infancy and became a partner in early 2000. He serves as the Chief Medical Officer for all Pearl Street practices. Raised in Texas, Dr. Jennings attended West Texas State University, where he majored in Biology and Chemistry, and then went on to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1997.
Dr. Jennings has spent the last 20+ years building the Pearl Street family of practices while running his primary office in Tyler, TX. He finds his passion in helping dentists expand their ability and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Dr. Jennings resides with his wife, Terri, and dog, Hank. His older daughter, Hanna, is an artist and teacher at the New York Academy of Art in New York City. His younger daughter, Hadyn, is a grad student in Denver and a member of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jennings can be found spending time with family, overseeing the Pearl Street Dr. Academy, or serving as commissioner of the Pearl Street Doctor Fantasy Football League.
Rene Sauerteig
Chief Executive Officer
Rene Sauerteig serves as Chief Executive Officer at Pearl Street. He joined Pearl Street in 2026 and has 20+ years of experience leading Dental Support Organizations (DSO’s) of different sizes and stages of maturity in 20+ states across the country. Rene’s passion is supporting our Partner Doctors and team members to make their lives easier so they can provide the highest-quality dental care in the communities they serve.
He was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Economics before obtaining his MBA from Harvard Business School. Rene firmly believes in the value of investing in relationships to achieve both individual and business goals. He feels extremely honored and humbled to help lead Pearl Street…and have some fun along the way.
Rene has been married to his wife Emily for 20+ years and has two children, Hannah and RJ. Both children are avid tennis players, and he and Emily can be found on the weekends at one of many tennis tournaments across Texas and the Southeast. Rene enjoys waking up early to exercise, spending time with family, international travel, and going for mind-clearing walks outside.
Tripp Montalbo
Chief Operating Officer
Tripp Montalbo joined Pearl Street Dental Partners in April 2024 with over 23 years of healthcare leadership experience. His roles have included COO and CEO of large acute care hospitals, as well as Regional VP at United Surgical Partners International. A Texas native with a dual MBA/MHA and a medical family background, he is deeply committed to community service. Tripp enjoys golf, spending time with family, and supporting his kids’ athletic activities.
Eric Brandt
Chief Financial Officer
Eric Brandt, CFO of Pearl Street, brings extensive financial expertise from roles such as VP of Finance at Smile Doctors, where he supported revenue growth from $100M to $650M. A Lehigh University graduate in Finance with a focus on accounting, Eric emphasizes collaboration and mentorship, coaching his teams for success. Based in Austin, Texas, for seven years, he enjoys golfing and visits New Jersey for family time and competitive board games.
