About Pearl Street
Pearl Street Dental (fka Dental Management Strategies) has partnered with dentists in a variety of situations – providing capital and insight on how to grow their practice, establishing succession plans for retiring dentists, or simply supporting non-clinical operations.
Dr. Jennings and David Meece started their first practice in 1999. Since then, they have acquired, owned, managed, and consulted dozens of practices. In the last 20 years, as the dental industry has evolved, Dr. Jennings and David focused on building a group practice centered around their dentists (both partners and associates), their team members, and delivering the highest quality of care to patients.
Leadership
David Meece
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
David Meece is a founding member of Pearl Street and serves as its principal operations officer. While practicing law in the late 1990s, David foresaw a future shift in the dental/medical industry and formed a dental group to be a frontrunner in that evolution.
David was born and raised in Dallas and graduated from Baylor University before obtaining his law degree from the University of Tulsa. David brings a unique, analytical approach to the business side of dentistry, but he prides himself most on developing the relationships and creating the overall culture that have been key to Pearl Street’s success.
David is a devoted husband to his wife, Ashley, and a proud father to three daughters, Lauren, Audrey, and Hailey. He spends his free time at the family farm near Fairfield, TX and is an avid outdoorsman, piano player, and sports enthusiast. David is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Baylor Bear Foundation, and American Mensa.
Dr. Robby Jennings
Co-Founder & Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Robby Jennings joined Pearl Street in its infancy and became a partner in early 2000. He serves as the clinical director for all practices. Raised in Texas, Dr. Jennings attended West Texas State University, where he majored in Biology and Chemistry and went on to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1997.
Dr. Jennings has spent the last 20 years building the Pearl Street family of practices while running his primary office in Tyler, TX. He finds his passion in helping dentists expand their ability and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Dr. Jennings resides with his wife, Terri, and dog, Hank. His older daughter, Hanna, is in grad school in New York City. His younger daughter, Hadyn, is a senior at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jennings can be found spending time with family, attending sporting events, or serving as commissioner of the Pearl Street Doctor Fantasy Football League.
